2. (話(huà)語(yǔ)、玩笑等)粗俗的,不雅的,不得體的 If you describe something such as a remark or joke as tasteless, you mean that it is offensive.
e.g. I think that is the most vulgar and tasteless remark I ever heard in my life. 我覺(jué)得那是我平生聽(tīng)過(guò)的最粗俗不堪的話(huà)了。
3. (食物、飲料)淡而無(wú)味的,沒(méi)滋味的 If you describe food or drink as tasteless, you mean that it has very little or no flavour.
e.g. The fish was mushy and tasteless. 魚(yú)做得太爛了,沒(méi)滋沒(méi)味的。
